10/6/07 - I have updated the Rules and the Breeding rules, I want to make sure you all read them. One change I have made to the rules is that you can breed any time in the year(I thought I changed this a long time ago, but I guess I didn't). Check everything with a mark next to the rule. I will give The Activity Check one more day, I have e-mailed a few people that hav't been active for a long time to make sure that they don't want to be deleted. 9/22/07 -** We have a new skin! I hope you guys like it, I put alot of effort into making it. Another guide to playing the survivors

Introduction
I first joined survivors in the early far, from being someone who hadn't played a roleplaying game is 3 years to now being an owner of one and a global moderator on survivors. I don't promise you will learn every step to managing a great profile (aka: well respected, well known, a good writer), or even think about creating you own. These are guide lines to... help those who don't understand. I suggest you take time to try shiba's guide, but hers is just another one.

The very Begining (BEFORE/RIGHT AFTER YOU HAVE JOINED!)
Before we go into posting or anything like that, make sure this is something you want to be part of. WE have recently had a few accounts deleted because of lack of logging on. It's a waste of your time if you create a account and never play.
1.Read the ruels. Many people get banned for breaking a rule. It only take 3 minutes!
2. Check out the recent rpg post if you have never played.
3. Look through the bio's. These can give you IDeas about what your charecters bio. This means no copying and pasting.
NOw you can join if you haven't already (YES)

Creating Your bio! (DUH DUH DUH DUH!)

REad the rules of bio's before you post. IT makes is more easier for the people trying to get you to have a bio and for you. COpy the code, and write. I suggest your 1st charecter has a personality like you. It will make them easier to rp. Sounds easy enough? JUst get it excepted then you can start posting!

Charecters

LIke I said before, choose a personality that fits you. Sahara is my example. I am just like her. SO I can portray whatshe is feeling better. And if you aren't going to be on muc, try limiting yourself to 1-3 dogs. This is an easy way to make sure you never leave anyone feeling bad because you never have time to post to all your posts. Also the breed of dog is also a BIGGIE! MOst dogs here a german shepherd, or dogs that can fight (pitbulls, rotweilers). It's fun to have new dogs that aren't ment for fighting but could be aggressive (My example is zono, my lab.) YOu can also look at other posts to see what dog might fit you.

Just to remind you again, reread the rules. Look at other posts. Before you click the "start new tread" button, think. Follow these guidelines:
1. What do you want to acomplish in this post? finding a mate, starting a pack, finding a pack, finding a friend? whatever it is, make sure you make that clear.
2. WHat dogs do you want to include? Or do you just want a dog?
Try not to make a post that doesn't include any reason for being there, try and include dogs. IT doesn't have to be a specific dog, may be just syaing a howl in the wind.
3. Create your own words, it makes it sound better.
4. POST POST POST!!!!
