10/6/07 - I have updated the Rules and the Breeding rules, I want to make sure you all read them. One change I have made to the rules is that you can breed any time in the year(I thought I changed this a long time ago, but I guess I didn't). Check everything with a mark next to the rule. I will give The Activity Check one more day, I have e-mailed a few people that hav't been active for a long time to make sure that they don't want to be deleted. 9/22/07 -** We have a new skin! [P] Starting Anew

Momo has been traveling for a few days to come to this remote place. Her pregnancy was weighing her down, if she was not carrying these puppies, she would have gotten here days ago. She was in the middle of what seemed like a quiet forest area, she had heard that not many others would come here. She also knew that there was an abandoned shed, but she thought that it would be too risky.

She was now looking for a burrow or den to have puppies in. She could feel that her pregnancy would soon come to an end, she could often feel the pups wringling furiously. She had tried to make the best out of her situation, hunting what she can and even eating off of old carcasses. Despite this she was still quite skinny, making her weak. The worst thing that can happen now is that another dog would appear.

Shinju had no particular place to be, she was just an outcast, for now anyways. She had nothing to do and nowhere to go. All she did was walk around, travel around the city. She knew the city life would never be for her, it was too busy and loud. All dogs there seemed to have gone mad, they would never talk to her. Has anyone heard of communication?, she had thought. She didn't care about them though, so she decided on seeing the bay. It seemed peaceful enough for her, it wasn't as boring as the country- side sounded.

She perked up. Her nose could detect two scents, one she couldn't exactly tell what it was but the other was most distinctly rabbit. The rabbit was near, and she had not eaten for awhile. She searched for the rabbit and heard a a few movements in the bush. As she got closer, she saw it run off madly, and of course Shinju gave chase. She was faster than it and easily caught up with the rabbit. She made one final bound and leap towards it and grabbed its neck, breaking it as she did so.

Her meal was hanging limply from her blood dripping jaws, but Shinju wasn't savoring it as she would have normally. She smelled the other scent from before, this time stronger. She soon realized that it was another dog, apparently a pregnant female. She sneered menacingly. Wouldn't it be nice to talk to someone for once? She headed in the direction of the scent.

Momo lifted her head to a familiar smell she had smelt at her former home. What shall I do? My worst fears are coming true... She was normally a dog that liked company but since she was pregnant she had to be careful on who she would talk to. She gathered up her courage and started towards the smell. Who's there?

What am I doing? Have I gone mad? She didn't know what good would come out of facing the unknown. Realizing how foolish she had just been, she started to back away. She quickly whirled around, causing some pain to her stomach but she didn't cry out. But it was too late, she could see the faint frame of the other dog approaching. She was frozen to her spot, fearful of what this dog could do.

She saw the long haired pregnant female try to get away. She understood her antics, to protect a family running away was usually a good choice. But then she was frozen to that spot. As she neared she could see its light fawnish fur. She stopped a few feet away from her. She looked skinny and weak, Shinju almost felt sorry for her. But alas, she was not the type to care for others, so she didn't say anything about it.

Then she realized that she still had the limp rabbit in her jaws. She dropped and spoke. I thought that I was the only one around, I was wrong. And I realize that you are pregnant too, so more are to come? Hmm. She stopped there for now and tried to make some more observations. Canine, Chow, female, skinny, weak, most likely hungry, pregnant. She looked down at the meal. She wanted to eat it but it was rude to eat in front of others, even Shinju knew that much.

I realize that you are quite skinny, and you are eating for your unborn, yes? Well, I guess I will give you a bite of my meal if you wish. She looked at her, even with all that fur she could see some of her ribs. She herself had never been that skinny, but that was probably because she never was pregnant in her life. She wondered why she reached out to her, was it because she felt sorry for her and she had the food right there in front of her? What is you name? Mine is Shinju.

Momo was frightened but she craved for the rabbit Shinju dropped, so she attempted answered in a strong voice, My name is Momo. But she felt as though Shinju was not pleased. Despite her fear of the dog, Momo was being driven by her hunger toward the rabbit. With a quivering paw Momo took a step forward, unsure of what Shinju would think.

She now knew the pregnant femmes name, Momo. She watched her hesitantly take a step towards the meal. She couldn't help but feel as if Momo thought she was going to attack her. It is my gift, take it. I won't attack you, I am not the type. As she said the final words she sat down on her haunches observing the area. It was quiet, dogs obviously didn't come her often.

She then set her focus back to Momo. So, what are you doing here in the first place? I myself do not have any particular reason, I just want to get away from the streets. She continued to watch her, waiting for her answer.

Momo eyed her suspiciously and finally answered. I'm been looking for a peaceful area to raise my pups. She stepped closer the rabbit, paws still quivering. Momo was now standing face to face to Shinju, the rabbit at her paws. She lowered her head towards the meat still watching the other femme. She then bit into the rabbits side, feeling the wet blood fill her mouth. As she chewed the fresh meat, she felt energy rush through her body as if she hadn't eaten in days.

She then lifted her head to look at Shinju. She seemed to be calm at the moment. She felt comforted that Shinju had reached out to her and given her some of the meal. She continued to feed off the rabbits delicious meat. Thank you, I haven't had a decent meal in days. Momo had never felt so at home, especially next a dog she barely knew.

She saw Momo eye her suspiciously but she didn't care. She sat there for the duration of time it took her to eat. She listened to her thanks but didn't care very much about it. Do not thank me, thank your luck. If it wasn't for that, I wouldn't be here with a rabbit to present to you. She wondered how long until she was due. Her belly seemed large and like it would explode. She only guessed that it was some time soon.

So uh... She didn't want to intrude into others business, but she had fed this dog so she thought she deserved to know. How long until your due?

Momo, who had been fed the delicious rabbit, was now more trusting toward Shinju. She answered I am due in a few days. Momo had now let her guard down, feeling a sense of trust toward Shinju. Momo then remembered what she had come here for in the first place, to find shelter to raise her pups. Momo was very grateful for the meal, but she had to get going.I thank you for this great meal, but I must get going and find myself some shelter.

She listened to her words, they were a little more bolder than before. She's getting more comfortable near me... This was probably the first time anyone had put even the least bit of trust towards her. She was never the type to be going around willy nilly, meeting other dogs and being 'nice' to them.

She didn't want Momo to leave. She never felt like this before, actually wanting someone by her side. Thoughts about friendship came to mind, but Shinju tried to erase them. A few days eh? Well might as well help you... Why was she so stubborn not to let this dog go? Was it because she had been alone all her life, now finally wanting a companion or a friend? She wasn't sure, but her mouth seemed to have a mind of its own.

Momo was so warmed by the words Shinju spoke. She had been traveling alone for days and looked for a companion, but Momo knew that she could not completely trust anyone until she fully knew them. Momo could not think of what to say, weather she should ask for help and have Shinju accompany her or if she should refuse to let her come along during her pregnancy. Finally, Momo came to a decision, If you wish to come along you may but I suggest that you go on yourself. Momo thought it would be hard to trust someone she had just met, especially in such a late stage of pregnancy, but she also felt so alone until now, and wanted some company.

She looked at her strangely. Doesn't this dog want some company? I just offered it to her and now she just says do whatever you want to... She knew she couldn't deny her words, that would make her sound like a liar and someone who would betray. I'll stay with you. A word is a word after all. She stood up, wondering what would happen next.

Where have you searched all ready? I'll help you find a place to sleep, I need a place to sleep too. Why was she so open to Momo? She had never been that way to others before, she had actually been kind of snotty. Maby because she's pregnant, the others weren't pregnant were they? She looked around again. She decided that they should split up to find a place. For starters, I'll head out in that direction. She her head nodded to her left. You can head out in the other direction. When you find something, bark. I'll do the same.

She barely knew this dog and she was already telling her what to do. But she knew that was her nature, to be an alpha. She couldn't help it, anyways this dog did seem to need some support.
